Anjoman is a community of people that adhere to the moral teaching of Ahura Mazda given through the prophet Ashoo Zarathushtra more than 3700 years ago.

Our religion has several different traditional names: «Mazda Yasna» – Honoring of Wisdom, «Din-e Behi» – Good Religion, «Din Zartoshti» – Religion of Zartosht. Often our religion is called Zoroastrianism, and its followers – Zoroastrians.

 

The Russian Anjoman is in religious unity and canonical communication with the Zoroastrian Priests Association of Iran («Anjoman Moghan Iran» – AMI), the highest authority among the world Zoroastrian community.

• We believe in the One Creator – Ahura Mazda – the maker of everything good.
• We believe in the first and only prophet Ashoo Zarathushtra and the revelation granted to him by Ahura Mazda.
• We believe in the existence of both spiritual and material worlds.
• We believe that the material world has two spirits – Good and Evil – Sepantaminoo and Ahriman.
• We believe that Ahura Mazda is the creator of the material world, and that Ahriman befouls this world.
• We believe that man and universe were created perfect, and that their existence in a befouled state is finite.
• We believe that every good creation has an eternal fravashi.
• We believe that every man can choose between good and evil, between truth and falsity. Life and post-mortem fate of every man depends on his choices and his deeds.
• We believe in the three saviors that will come in the future to restore the glory and the power of Good Faith. The last one of them, Saoshyant, will come at the end of time leading the forces of good to their final victory over the forces of evil.
• We believe that after the renovation of the universe at the end of time – Frashkard – all beings will be resurrected and pass the final judgement, after which there will be no evil.
• We believe in the purity of the four elements: Fire, Water, Earth, and Air.
• We believe that the holy Fire – Shah Varahram Atash – is the image of Ahura Mazda on earth.
• We believe that the revelation of Ashoo Zarathushtra has been preserved and passed on to us through generations of Dasturs and Moobeds – the descendants of his first followers.
• We believe in the essentiality of traditional ritual practice for preservation of purity and salvation of the universe.

We are certain: the truths spoken by Ashoo Zarathushtra have always been correct, while during our time they have become necessary for the world. We are glad to see both adherents of our religion and those people who seek to know more about Good Faith. Good Faith is open to all kind people who are ready to accept it and adhere to it according to its traditions.
